Ordered a pair of sandals on April 1, my order was confirmed' and my credit card was charged for the item. Fast forward to May 5 and still no sign of them. I have followed up with customer service 3 times via email, receiving the same template response each time. Here's hoping they arrive before winter. Given 1 star for abysmal customer service... Will never order from this company again.
I ordered a pair of sandals on 06/03 and they still have not even been shipped. I have tried to get in touch with this company for weeks now with no response. I have tried to call, email, and use their chat box on their website with no response. I really like their products from the store but I am extremely disappointed with their online customer service. Do not order from their website!

I need help! Your customer service is the absolute WORST & not only that.. they’re “temporarily closed” until Monday?! I placed order 3453280 on JUNE 6th for two items. Received ONE ITEM ON JUNE 10th! I was missing the Skylar Clear sandals. After contacting customer service and waiting 1 HOUR ON HOLD, I spoke with Haley who was having my shoes shipped out by NEXT DAY AIR THE NEXT day! She could not explain why to me I haven’t received my shoes.. nor provide a new tracking number! As of Sunday JUNE 13th, I still hadn’t received any new shipment info on my shoes so I emailed customer service and BRUCE said that my shoes were “in transit” and provided the tracking number 518261139495.. which said they were to be delivered TODAY, JUNE 16th.. 10 days later mind you.. and while checking the status today.. FedEx says they still haven’t received the item from you to even ship!! And now all of the sudden your customer service is temporarily closed?! The heck?! Where are my damn shoes?! I am Contacting the BBB AND GOING ALL OVER social media about this immediately! This is absolutely ridiculous! Not that Mr. Steve Madden gives a f*** with his multi million dollar company.. he’s a thief! Funny to me how customer service is all the sudden “temporarily closed” on a Wednesday?! Y’all running a scam to steal peoples money!
I ordered a pair of shoes back in the middle of May. A month later, I still don’t have them. This is the first and last time I’ll ever order from them again.
Ordered a pair of wedges on May 29. On June 6 they created a shipping label. Today is June 13 and FedEx STILL does not have the package. They charged my card the morning after I ordered! And of course, Steve Madden's barely English speaking CS representative had no option and blamed it on FedEx. I love Steve Madden shoes but I will NEVER buy direct from them again. (the only reason it gets 1 star is because I had to give it at least one)
Sandals were purchased and never shipped waiting on hold with customer service for an hour now and nobody has picked up never again anytime I order online anywhere they give details on when they are shipping and you can track here all it says is purchase unfulfilled no reason no estimate nothing for a week now what's going on with my purchase?

I order two pairs of tennis shoes on 3-3-21 and it stated it was on back order until 4-30-2, which I was ok with. I received one pair on 5-6-21 and I am still waiting on my other pair. I called customer service and they are useless they keep offering me a 20% discount but I just want the shoes or my money back. I also emailed them and no response

I signed up for email notifications to receive the $10 off. When I went to order a pair of shoes it stated I could not use the $10. I wrote a complaint to customer service and was told that I could not use the $10 for the shoes however they would give me 20% off. With the 20% off I then had to pay for shipping when it was free prior. This bothered me as with the shut down all stores are closed so we have no other choice but to buy online. In my opinion if the store is closed the shipping should be free. I decided to go ahead and order them anyways as I really liked them. Two weeks later I checked the status as I never received them and the order was canceled with no email follow up. I again wrote a complaint and was told that they were sold out. These shoes are still available on the website over two weeks later but apparently sold out I have unsubscribed and I will not be buying from this company.
I paid for 2 day shipping on a Monday and it's now Friday no tracking or anything. I contacted customer service and they said my shoe hasn't been process to be fullfilled and if it's not at 1 center they'll have to check another fullfillment center. So you charge people cards without knowing if you can fulfill and item? No one offered to resolve my issue just that it's showing it's being processed. Will NEVER order from Steve Madden again. I always wondered why I stopped years ago.
I don’t know how I “bought” the SM pass. Now I’m trying to cancel that purchase and nobody answer the call. They don’t answer my email back. And also they don have the chat online anymore!

I purchased some shoes from the Atlanta Lenox mall store. I didn't realize they were used at the bottom until I got back to my hotel room. I tried to return the next morning, manager said that she didn't sell me used shoes. That's a lie! I never walked outside with these shoes. I only tried them on in their store on their not so clean floor. Imagine how many previous customers did the same thing. I called corporate. They're a joke. They wouldn't refund me either. They instead offered me a coupon! Ha! I'm not putting anymore money in this company! Now I feel like they're calling me a liar. This was my first time purchasing Steve Madden shoes and will be my last. They customer service is mediocre. Seems to me they don't care about losing potential returning customers.
Steve Madden has very beautifully styled shoes, however, on 2 separate occasions i purchased $100+ high heeled sandals in my usual size which is 9. When I got home and and tried on the sandals I realized they were too small. When I went to return both sandals, the store associates would not allow me to exchange my shoes due to it being "worn". Mind you, I only walked around my house to test the comfortability of the shoe. Never did I walk outside in the pavement but the soles of the shoes are so cheaply made with low quality material that a small amount of friction will dent the shoe and make it look like it had been worn a few times. I lost $250 on both these sandals that I won't even be able to wear. Ladies, their high heels run small so remember to go up 1 size and a half. Other than that just be careful choosing your size. It's a waste of money.
First time ordering from them and 2 days into it and already frustrated. I tried the coupon they offer when you place your first order and did not work. Then, I went ahead placing my order and paid 2-day shipping fee. I realized my order would still take over a month regardless. I tried calling but was never connected. It kept saying someone will answer shortly...waited 2 hours and hung up. I tried their live chat. Also 2 hours and no help. This company has terrible customer service. First and last time ordering anything with them. Go to Amazon or shop at the mall if you really want their merchandise.

It's a legit company, but they are very unorganized and don't hire appropriate associates to deal with any customer issues/complaints. I would do extensive research before ordering online. Their in store service is moderate.

I placed an order on May 23 and paid by cc. Now its September, still haven't got the item yet and no refund nor news from them.

It used to take less than a week from ordering to get your shoes. As of late, their warehouse coffeemaker must be broken or their staff are underpaid and miserable because, the orders aren't being shipped. Order from Steve Madden if a) you appreciate the element of surprise: will your shoes arrive? Will they be the size you ordered?; or b) considering ordering a style you anticipate preferring a year or so from now, or maybe never.
